In particular, at 7am this morning, there were many points with AQI at the purple threshold - very bad for health. Typical examples are Quang Khanh AQI 251 station, IQAir Hanoi AQI 205 office and Dong Truc commune, Thach That district (now Ha Bang commune) AQI 210.

According to the monitoring system of the Department of Environment (Ministry of Agriculture and Environment), at 7:00 a.m. this morning, at the measuring station at the gate of Hanoi University of Science and Technology on Giai Phong Street, the AQI was 181. The bad level - for normal people, it can affect their health. sensitive people may have health problems. At the same time yesterday morning, the AQI index at this point was 125.

At station 556 Nguyen Van Cu at 7:00 a.m. this morning, the AQI was 169. Compared to the same time yesterday morning, today's AQI index is higher at 55.

The Nhan Chinh - Khuat Duy Tien Park measuring station has a poor air quality index, but the AQI is still at a high level of 146. 49 higher than at the same time yesterday morning.

Hanoi is in its third air pollution period since the beginning of the season, starting on November 28 and forecast to last until today, December 5, according to the AI-applied Air Quality Forecast model (HanoiAir) of the Smart Geo-Space Research Group (GEOI), University of Technology - Vietnam National University, Hanoi.

Experts recommend that when the air quality index reaches the hazardous level (AQI 301 500), people should minimize going out, temporarily stop outdoor activities and switch to indoor activities. Close your doors to avoid contact with pollution. For sensitive groups, the recommendation is even more strict: absolutely do not go out and ensure the indoor environment is airy and safe.
