In order to proactively prevent risks in the face of complicated weather diễn biến in the period from September 7 to September 16, the Da Nang City Department of Industry and Trade has issued a document requesting hydropower reservoir management units, power projects and power grids in the area to urgently implement response solutions according to the "4 on-site" motto.
Da Nang requests reservoir owners to strictly comply with inter-reservoir operation procedures, maintain 24/24h on-duty forces to proactively cut and reduce floods for downstream areas, absolutely not to let artificial flood incidents occur. For construction sites located in areas at high risk of flash floods or landslides, units must resolutely temporarily suspend all construction activities to ensure absolute safety of workers' lives, absolutely not to be subjective or intentionally operate in unsafe weather conditions because of project progress.
The Da Nang City Civil Defense Command also put into operation a system of digital information channels to serve people and authorities during the rainy and storm season.

Through online platforms such as the information page of the Civil Defense Command, the City Electronic Information Portal or the Danang Smart City application, people can proactively look up flood maps, find safe evacuation locations, send feedback, and urgent rescue requests to functional agencies. Data on weather diễn biến is also continuously updated in real time thanks to the 77 Vrain automatic rain gauge system and dozens of flood warning towers, Vfass water level gauges located in key areas.
Functional agencies recommend that people regularly grasp information through official channels to proactively develop safety plans for their families and property.
