Especially in the Hung Yen, Ninh Binh, southern Phu Tho and Thanh Hoa areas from the evening of September 14 to September 16, the total rainfall is commonly from 200-400mm, locally over 550mm.
Lang Son, Bac Phu Tho, southern provinces of Thai Nguyen, Tuyen Quang, Son La, Lao Cai and Nghe An provinces will have moderate rain, heavy rain and thunderstorms with common rainfall from 80-170mm, locally very heavy rain over 300mm.

From the night of September 15 to September 16, Lang Son, Phu Tho, Quang Ninh, Hai Phong, Bac Ninh, Hanoi, Hung Yen, Ninh Binh, southern provinces of Thai Nguyen, Tuyen Quang, Son La, Lao Cai and Thanh Hoa provinces will have common rainfall of 50-100mm, locally over 150mm.
In thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind. Warning level of natural disaster risk due to heavy rain, tornadoes, lightning, hail is level 1; especially in the southern Phu Tho, Hung Yen, Ninh Binh, Thanh Hoa areas is level 2.
