Khanh Hoa, Lam Dong provinces and the Southern region have moderate rain, heavy rain and thunderstorms with common rainfall of 40 - 80mm, locally very heavy rain over 150mm.
The southern part of the Northern Delta, the south of Phu Tho province, the North Central region and the north of Quang Tri province will have scattered showers and thunderstorms with rainfall of 15 - 30mm, locally over 60mm.
The western area of provinces from Quang Ngai to Dak Lak has rain, moderate rain and thunderstorms with common rainfall of 20 - 40mm, locally heavy rain over 80mm.
On the day and night of September 24, the area from Ha Tinh to Da Nang will have heavy rain, locally very heavy rain and thunderstorms with common rainfall of 50 - 100mm, locally over 200mm.

Regarding the hydrological situation, currently, the water level of rivers from Hue city to Lam Dong is fluctuating and is still below alarm level 1.
From now (September 23) to September 25, a flood is likely to occur on rivers from Hue city to Lam Dong. During this flood, the peak flood on rivers in Hue city, small streams, upstream of main rivers from Da Nang city to Lam Dong will reach alarm level 1 - alarm level 2; the peak flood downstream of the Vu Gia-Thu Bon, Tra Khuc, Kon-Ha Thanh, Ba, Se San, Srepok rivers will fluctuate below alarm level 1.
