On January 7th, day and night, the sea area from Nam Quang Tri to Dak Lak will have strong northeast winds at level 6, gusts at level 7 - 8, rough seas; waves 3-6m high.
The sea area from Khanh Hoa to Ca Mau, the Northern East Sea area (including Hoang Sa special zone), the central and southern East Sea areas (including Truong Sa special zone) have strong northeast winds of level 6, sometimes level 7, gusts of level 8 - 9, strong sea waves; waves 3 - 6m high.
The Gulf of Tonkin has northeast wind level 5, sometimes level 6, gusts level 7, rough seas; waves are 2-3m high.
In addition, on January 7 and night, the central and southern areas of the East Sea (including the Truong Sa special zone) will have scattered showers and thunderstorms. In thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes and strong gusts of wind.
On January 8th, day and night, the sea area from Quang Ngai to Dak Lak and the Northern East Sea area (including Hoang Sa special zone) will have strong northeast winds at level 6, gusts at level 7 - 8; waves 3-5m high, rough seas.
The sea area from Khanh Hoa to Ca Mau, the central and southern East Sea (including Truong Sa special zone) has strong northeast winds of level 6, sometimes level 7, gusts of level 8 - 9; waves 3 - 6m high, strong sea waves.
The meteorological agency warns that the level of natural disaster risk at sea is level 2. All ships operating in the above areas are at high risk of being affected by strong winds and big waves.
