News from the Organizing Committee of Da Nang International Fireworks Festival - DIFF 2026 said that the theme of this year's festival is "Da Nang - United Horizons - Connecting Horizons".
DIFF 2026 is scheduled to take place from May 30 to July 11, 2026 with the theme "Da Nang - Connecting Horizons" (Da Nang - United Horizons). Accordingly, DIFF 2026 carries the message of the image of a new Da Nang after the merger of Da Nang city and Quang Nam province.
The theme name expresses the close combination of nature, cultural - architectural - tourism symbols and the modern spirit of a destination connecting, maintaining national identity, intersecting, and striving to develop in the new era.
The themes of the 6 competition nights will therefore follow the flow of a new Da Nang development journey, with a new position, potential and new mindset. The names of the competition nights are Nature (Nature), Heritage (Heritage), Culture (Culture), Creative (Creative), Vision (Vision) and United Horizons (Connected Horizons).
According to the draft plan, DIFF 2026 will have 10 participating teams, including: Da Nang Fireworks Team - Vietnam; Team Z21 Vina Pyrotech - Vietnam; Chinese Team - Jiangxi Yangfeng Art Fireworks Display Co., Ltd; Italian Team - Martarello Group S.R.L; German Team - Josef Steffes - Ollig Feuer Werk GMBH, Portuguese Team - Macedos Pirotecnia Lda; French Team - Lux Factory POK 2.0; Japanese Team - Tamaya Kitahara Fireworks Co., Ltd; Macau Team - Apple Pyrotechnics (Macau) Co., Ltd; Australian Team - Skylighter Fireworks. Thus, DIFF 2026 will have up to 4 new recruits, promising many surprises in this year's competition season.
Similar to the 2025 exam season, DIFF 2026 will take place in 6 nights of competition. Fireworks display location in the Han River Port area; main stand and stage on the sidewalk of Tran Hung Dao street, opposite the display area and stage used in previous DIFFs.
With the theme "United Horizons - Connecting Horizons", DIFF 2026 not only promises to bring top-notch fireworks displays gathering international elite, but also tells the story of a new Da Nang that is expanding its development space, expanding its vision and connecting more strongly with the region and the world.
