The meteorological agency warns that thunderstorms are likely to occur with tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind. Thunderstorms accompanied by tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind can affect agricultural production, causing trees to fall, damage to houses, traffic works, and infrastructure.
Localized heavy rain is likely to cause flash floods on small rivers and streams, landslides on slopes and flooding in low-lying areas. Warning level of natural disaster risk due to tornadoes, lightning, and hail is level 1.
According to the latest 10-day weather forecast bulletin, from April 19 to April 20, the Northern region will have scattered showers and thunderstorms; especially the delta region will have showers and thunderstorms in some places. On the night of April 20, mountainous and midland areas will have scattered showers and thunderstorms. The period from about the evening of April 22 to April 24, the Northern region will have scattered showers and thunderstorms, locally heavy rain.
