Latest update from the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, at 7:00 p.m. on November 10, the center of the storm was located at about 18.5 degrees north latitude; 112.7 degrees east longitude, in the western sea area of the North East Sea, about 210km north of Hoang Sa archipelago.
The strongest wind near the storm center is level 11 (103-117km/h), gusting to level 13. Moving southwest, speed about 5km/h.
It is forecasted that in the next 24 hours, storm No. 7 will move southwest, at a speed of about 15km/h and continue to weaken. At 7:00 p.m. on November 11, the center of the storm will be at about 16.1 degrees north latitude - 110.3 degrees east longitude in the sea west of Hoang Sa archipelago.
The strongest wind near the storm center is level 8, gusting to level 10.
It is forecasted that in the next 48 hours, storm No. 7 will move southwest, at a speed of about 15km/h and weaken into a low pressure area. At 7:00 p.m. on November 12, the center of the low pressure area will be at about 13.7 degrees north latitude - 108.5 degrees east longitude in the Gia Lai - Binh Dinh area.
The strongest wind near the center of the low pressure is below level 6.
At sea, the sea area west of the North East Sea (including the Hoang Sa archipelago) has strong winds of level 7 - 8, near the storm center level 9 - 11, gusting to level 13, waves 3 - 5m high, near the center 5 - 7m; rough seas.
From the morning of November 11, the sea off the coast of Thua Thien Hue to Binh Dinh has gradually increased winds to level 6 - 7, gusts to level 9, waves 2 - 4m high; rough seas.
Ships operating in the above mentioned dangerous areas are likely to be affected by storms, whirlwinds, strong winds and large waves.
