Latest update from the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, at 7:00 a.m. on November 10, the center of the storm was located at about 19 degrees north latitude; 113.2 degrees east longitude, in the northwest sea of the North East Sea, about 330km north-northeast of Hoang Sa archipelago.
The strongest wind near the storm center is level 13 (134 - 149 km/h), gusting to level 16. Moving west-southwest, speed about 5 km/h.
It is forecasted that in the next 24 hours, storm No. 7 will move southwest, at a speed of about 10km/h and weaken. At 7:00 a.m. on November 11, the center of the storm will be at about 17.4 degrees north latitude - 111.4 degrees east longitude in the sea north-northwest of Hoang Sa archipelago.
The strongest wind near the storm center is level 9 - 10, gusting to level 13.
It is forecasted that in the next 48 hours, storm No. 7 will move southwest, at a speed of about 10 - 15 km/h and gradually weaken into a tropical depression. At 7:00 a.m. on November 12, the center of the tropical depression will be at about 15.6 degrees north latitude - 109.3 degrees east longitude in the sea area from Quang Tri to Quang Ngai.
The strongest wind near the center of the tropical depression is level 6, gusting to level 8.
It is forecasted that in the next 72 hours, the tropical depression will move southwest at a speed of about 15km/h and weaken into a low pressure area. At 7:00 p.m. on November 12, the center of the low pressure will be at about 14.1 degrees north latitude - 108.3 degrees east longitude in the Central Highlands.
The strongest wind near the center of the low pressure is below level 6.
At sea, the western sea area of the North East Sea has strong winds of level 7-9, near the storm's eye level 10-13, gusting to level 16, waves 4-6m high, near the eye 6-8m; rough seas.
From early morning on November 11, the sea area from Quang Tri to Quang Ngai has strong winds of level 6 - 7, near the storm's eye strong winds of level 8, gusts of level 10, waves 2 - 4m high, near the storm's eye 3 - 5m; rough seas.
Ships operating in the above mentioned dangerous areas are likely to be affected by storms, whirlwinds, strong winds and large waves.
