Latest update from the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, at 10:00 a.m. on November 10, the center of the storm was located at about 18.9 degrees north latitude; 113.1 degrees east longitude, in the western sea area of the North East Sea, about 250km north-northeast of Hoang Sa archipelago.
The strongest wind near the storm center is level 12 - 13 (118 - 149 km/h), gusting to level 16. Moving west southwest, speed about 5 km/h.
It is forecasted that in the next 24 hours, storm No. 7 will move southwest, at a speed of about 10km/h and continue to weaken. At 10:00 a.m. on November 11, the center of the storm will be at about 17.1 degrees north latitude - 111.1 degrees east longitude in the sea northwest of Hoang Sa archipelago.
The strongest wind near the storm center is level 9, gusting to level 11.
It is forecasted that in the next 48 hours, storm No. 7 will move southwest, at a speed of about 15km/h and weaken into a low pressure area. At 10:00 a.m. on November 12, the center of the low pressure area will be at about 15.1 degrees north latitude - 108.7 degrees east longitude on the mainland of Quang Nam - Binh Dinh.
The strongest wind near the center of the low pressure is below level 6.
At sea, the sea area west of the North East Sea (including the Hoang Sa archipelago) has strong winds of level 7 - 9, near the storm center level 10 - 13, gusting to level 16, waves 4 - 6m high, near the center 6 - 8m; rough seas.
From early morning on November 11, the sea off the coast of Quang Tri to Quang Ngai has gradually increased winds to level 6 - 7, gusts to level 9, waves 2 - 4m high; rough seas.
Ships operating in the above mentioned dangerous areas are likely to be affected by storms, whirlwinds, strong winds and large waves.
