Forecast for the next 24 to 48 hours
The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting said that in the next 24 to 48 hours, the weather in the North and Central regions will be affected by strengthening cold air.
Northern and North Central regions have no rain at night, sunny days, and some places have fog in the early morning. Nights and early mornings are cold, and in mountainous areas it is freezing.
The Central and South Central regions will have rain in some places at night and sunny during the day. In the South Central region, there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms in the late afternoon and evening. From November 3, the Central and South Central regions will have scattered showers and thunderstorms. In the area from Quang Tri to Quang Ngai, there will be moderate rain, heavy rain and scattered thunderstorms, and locally very heavy rain.
The Central Highlands and the South will have scattered showers and thunderstorms in some places; in the late afternoon and evening there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms in some places. Thunderstorms may include tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind.

The Northern region has some rain, cold at night and early morning, cold in mountainous areas; in the Northeast and plains from the night of November 3 to the morning of November 5, there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms, locally heavy rain. From around November 4 to 6, the weather will turn cold, with severe cold in mountainous areas; cold at night and early morning.
The North Central and Central Central regions will have heavy rain, some places will have very heavy rain and thunderstorms; from around November 9, heavy rain will gradually decrease. From around the night of November 4 - 6, the North Central region will turn cold.
South Central region from November 4 to 11, scattered showers and thunderstorms are forecast.
