In the joyful atmosphere of the National Great Unity Day, the people of Quyet Tien village (Xuan Ai commune, Van Yen district, Yen Bai province) reviewed the history of the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam National United Front (November 18, 1930 - November 18, 2024); the results of the implementation of the task of building the great unity bloc, the campaigns and patriotic emulation movements launched by all levels and sectors.
Quyet Tien village has 186 households with 783 people, including 4 ethnic groups. Promoting the spirit of solidarity and emulation, people have applied scientific and technological advances in cultivation, animal husbandry, and promoted afforestation. The average income per capita in 2024 is estimated at 60 million VND; the number of well-off and rich households accounts for 48%; the number of poor households is only over 6%; the rate of cultural families is 98.9%.
The movements "Each person - Each day one task, contributing to cleaning the environment"; "Mobilizing people to move fences to donate land to expand rural traffic routes" were also responded to by the people of Quyet Tien village and achieved many results.
Speaking with the people of Quyet Tien village on the National Great Unity Day, the Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Committee of Yen Bai province expressed his excitement that the face of the countryside is changing day by day, becoming more spacious, cleaner, and more civilized.
Mr. Tran Huy Tuan also suggested that the people in the village need to continue promoting the strength of national solidarity to develop the economy, eliminate hunger and reduce poverty, strive to become rich; preserve and promote the fine cultural identities of ethnic groups.
Sharing joy with the people in the Festival, Provincial Party Secretary, Provincial People's Committee Chairman Tran Huy Tuan and the provincial delegation, leaders of Van Yen district participated in a number of folk games and cultural and artistic activities of the people of Quyet Tien village.
