Weather forecast for the next 24 to 48 hours
On the afternoon of September 10, the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting updated the weather forecast for the coming days in regions across the country.
The Northern region, Thanh Hoa and northern Nghe An province on the night of September 10 and morning of September 11 will have scattered showers and thunderstorms, locally heavy rain; then showers and thunderstorms in some places.
The area from the south of Nghe An province to Da Nang city and the east of Quang Ngai province, the Central Highlands and the South in the next 2 days will have moderate rain, heavy rain and scattered thunderstorms, locally very heavy rain.
Other areas in the next 2 days are forecast to have rain, moderate rain and scattered thunderstorms, with locally heavy rain.
In thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.

The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting also gave a noteworthy weather trend in some areas from the night of September 10th to September 18th.
The Northern region has rain in some places, especially the midland and delta areas from about September 14th have scattered showers and thunderstorms, locally heavy rain.
The North Central and Central Central regions from the night of September 12 - 15 are likely to experience a widespread heavy rain.
The Central Highlands and Southern regions have showers and scattered thunderstorms, with locally heavy rain. Rain is concentrated in the afternoon and night. In thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.
Other areas from the night of September 12 to September 20, are forecast to have showers and thunderstorms in some places.
