Weather forecast for the next 24 to 48 hours
On the afternoon of August 27, the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting updated the weather forecast for the coming days in regions across the country.
The Northern region in the next 2 days is forecast to have scattered showers and thunderstorms, especially the mountainous and midland areas locally have heavy rain.
The area from Thanh Hoa to Hue city and the South Central Coast from August 28-29, sunny days, with hot places, especially the area from Ha Tinh to Da Nang city and the east of provinces from Quang Ngai to Dak Lak and Khanh Hoa with hot sun, with intense hot places; showers and thunderstorms in some places in the evening and at night.
Central Highlands and Southern regions in the next 2 days will have showers and thunderstorms in some places, especially in the late afternoon and evening there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms.
The meteorological agency warns that thunderstorms are likely to occur with tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.
Weather trend forecast from the night of August 29 to September 6

The Northern region from the night of August 29 - September 1 is likely to have rain, moderate rain and thunderstorms, locally heavy to very heavy rain. From September 2, rain tends to decrease.
The area from Thanh Hoa to Ha Tinh on the night of August 29 and August 30 will have showers and thunderstorms in some places, sunny days, with hot sun in some places; the period from about the night of August 30 to September 2 is likely to have rain, moderate rain and thunderstorms, locally with heavy to very heavy rain. From September 3, rain will gradually decrease.
The area of Quang Tri, Hue city and the South Central Coast will have showers and thunderstorms in some places in the evening and at night; sunny during the day, with hot sun in some places. Especially the area from Hue city to Da Nang city and the east of provinces from Quang Ngai to Dak Lak and Khanh Hoa on August 30th will have hot sun, with intense hot sun in some places.
