According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, this morning (May 26), the Gulf of Tonkin, the sea area from Quang Tri to Hue, the North and Central East Sea (including the sea area of Hoang Sa archipelago), the Gulf of Thailand will have scattered showers and thunderstorms.
On May 26 and night, Gulf of Tonkin, the waters from Quang Tri to Hue, the Gulf of Thailand, the northern region of the North of the East Sea, the east of the middle and the South of the East Sea (including the East Sea of Truong Sa Archipelago) with scattered showers and thunderstorms.
During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, strong gusts of wind of level 6 - 7 and waves over 2m high.
In addition, on May 26, in the northern sea area of the Gulf of Tonkin and the northern part of the North East Sea, there will be northeast winds of level 5, sometimes level 6, gusting to level 7 - 8; waves 2-3m high, rough seas. From the night of May 26, the wind will gradually decrease.
The meteorological agency warns that all ships operating in the above areas are at risk of being affected by tornadoes and strong gusts of wind.
