In the remaining time of winter and in February, the number of severe cold days is likely to be less than the multi-year average. Regarding hot weather in 2026, according to Mr. Nguyen Duc Hoa, hot weather is likely to appear in the Southern region from about the end of February to the beginning of March 2026 in the Southeast region; then there is a trend of increasing intensity and gradually expanding to the Mekong Delta region.
