Hanoi continues to have heavy rain, warning of high-risk roads

The meteorological agency said that this evening and tonight, June 30, Hanoi will continue to have moderate to very heavy rain.

According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, currently, the inner city of Hanoi is experiencing moderate to heavy rain.

In the next 3 - 6 hours (from 16:35 on June 30), the inner city of Hanoi and neighboring areas will continue to have heavy rain with common rainfall ranging from 20 - 50mm, some places over 70mm.

This rain is likely to cause flooding for many streets with common depths of 15 - 20cm; some streets are likely to be flooded deeper with a depth of about 20 - 40cm.

The meteorological agency noted that during this rain, the streets were only flooded during heavy rain and were soon drained after the rain ended 30 - 60 minutes.

The flood risk warning level is level 1. Traffic on deeply flooded streets will be affected, locally congested or many vehicles will have difficulty moving.
