Recorded at the scene, functional forces mobilized many specialized fire trucks, tanker trucks, excavators, bulldozers to participate in extinguishing the fire.
Officers and soldiers of Fire Police Team Area 4 and police and military forces of Cat Tien commune continuously pumped water to control the fire points.

Meanwhile, the forces of the landfill management unit carried out excavation, leveling, and creating boundary lines to prevent the fire from spreading.
Representatives of the Da Huoai area construction investment project management board said that the fire has basically been controlled.
Forces focused vehicles and manpower, using excavators to dig up garbage, combined with spraying water and filling soil to thoroughly handle each fire area.
Mr. Ho Quoc Phong said: "Due to hot weather with strong winds, firefighting at the landfill is facing many difficulties. Currently, the fire has basically been controlled. The locality is directing forces to completely extinguish it in the next 2-3 days, ensuring safety for people in the surrounding area.

Due to hot weather and strong winds, the fire quickly spread, covering a landfill area of more than 2 hectares.
At the scene, the fire was fierce, dense black smoke accompanied by many loud explosions, directly affecting dozens of households in Quang Ngai, Tu Nghia and hamlet 14 (Cat Tien commune).
People said that smoke and dust and stench lasted for many hours, causing stuffiness and seriously affecting daily life.
Da Mai slope landfill has been operating since 2001, receiving about 30 tons of waste every day. This area has long been polluted, and the fire has further affected the environment and people's lives.
