On the night of November 20 and November 21, the northern sea area of the North East Sea will have strong winds of level 6 - 7, gusting to level 8 - 9. The sea will be rough, with waves 3 - 5m high.
Gulf of Tonkin and the sea area from Quang Tri to Ca Mau and the west of the South China Sea (including the sea area west of Truong Sa archipelago) have strong winds of level 5, sometimes level 6, gusting to level 7 - 8. Rough seas, waves 2 - 4m high.
The northern sea area of the North East Sea has scattered showers and thunderstorms; the sea area from Quang Tri to Quang Ngai, the southern East Sea area (including the Truong Sa archipelago) has scattered showers and thunderstorms. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes and strong gusts of wind.
On the night of November 21 and November 22, the North East Sea area (including the Hoang Sa archipelago) will have strong winds of level 6 - 7, gusts of level 8 - 9, waves 3 - 5m high, rough seas; the Gulf of Tonkin, the sea area from Quang Tri to Ca Mau and the west of the South East Sea area (including the sea area west of Truong Sa archipelago) will have strong northeast winds of level 5, sometimes level 6, gusts of level 7 - 8; waves 2 - 4m high; rough seas.
The meteorological agency warned that the level of disaster risk due to strong winds at sea is level 2.
All vessels operating in the above areas are at high risk of being affected by cyclones, strong winds and large waves.
