During the day and night of January 18, the northeastern sea area of the North East Sea will have strong winds of level 6, gusting to level 7-8. Rough seas; waves 2-4.5m high. On the night of January 18, the winds in the above sea area will gradually decrease.
The sea area from Binh Dinh to Vung Tau and the west of the South China Sea (including the sea area west of Truong Sa archipelago) is at level 6, sometimes level 7, gusting to level 8 - 9. The sea is rough, waves are 2 - 5m high.
On the day and night of January 19, the sea area west of the South China Sea (including the sea area west of Truong Sa archipelago) and from Binh Dinh to Ninh Thuan will have strong northeast winds of level 6, gusting to level 7 - 8, rough seas, and waves 2 - 5m high.
The meteorological agency warned that the level of disaster risk due to strong winds at sea is level 2.
All vessels operating in the above areas are at high risk of being affected by cyclones, strong winds and large waves.
