The time of the fire was around 9:40 a.m. on October 15. At this time, a hotel security guard on duty in front of the lobby of the hotel saw smoke coming from the car and ran to see it. Discovering a driver sitting in the burned car, he ran into the hotel to get a fire extinguisher, called someone else to bring a mini fire extinguisher to the taxi to put out the fire.
Mr. Nguyen Van Tho, Internal Supervisor of Golf Valley Investment - Trading - Service Joint Stock Company, said that he named this security guard Le Nguyen Anh Nguyen (30 years old).

At the time of the incident, Mr. Nguyen ran into the hotel to call Mr. Nguyen Tan Toan (33 years old), a luggage officer, who brought the fire extinguished bottle to the smoking taxi.
At the same time, Mr. Tran Thanh Hai, Director of Golf Valley Hotel, called hotel staff and people around to rescue the taxi driver trapped inside.
The clip recorded the brave image of 2 people opening the taxi door and pulling the driver out. At this time, Mr. Nguyen and Toan used 2 fire extinguishers to put out the fire that was holding on to the driver's body.
At the same time, another young man did not hesitate to hold a fire extinguisher and rushed in to put out the fire inside the taxi.
In just a few minutes, the fire was completely extinguished, the taxi driver was rescued in time but suffered severe burns. Fortunately, there were no passengers in the car at the time of the fire.
The Board of Directors of Golf Valley Hotel called an ambulance to take the taxi driver to Lam Dong General Hospital for emergency treatment, and at the same time issued a report to the police.
According to Lam Dong General Hospital, the burned victim was named N.T (55 years old, in An Son area, Xuan Huong ward - Da Lat). Because Mr. T. suffered a very serious burning, he was transferred to Ho Chi Minh City for further treatment.
Immediately after the incident, the authorities arrived to block off the scene of the fire to investigate the cause and clarify the incident.
