Pharmaceutical product warehouse in Hanoi caught fire

Hanoi - After a loud explosion, a pharmaceutical warehouse caught fire, many people inside quickly moved out.

Initial information, the incident occurred at around 11:00 a.m. on October 10 at a warehouse containing pharmaceutical products in Nghia Hao village, Phu Nghia commune (Hanoi).

Witness at the scene said they heard a loud explosion coming from the warehouse. Black smoke then billowed.

Some staff working here quickly moved out, unable to bring any belongings.

The one-story corrugated iron warehouse consists of many warehouses containing pharmaceutical products, surrounded by rattan and bamboo factories and houses.

Upon receiving the report, dozens of Fire Prevention and Fighting and Rescue Police along with 6 fire trucks and two water tankers of the environmental unit were present at the scene on duty.

Fire police wear protective gear and gas cylinders to access the warehouse. Excavators follow the main gate to break the front of the warehouse so that the fire department can spray water inside.

By 11:30, the fire was basically under control.

The cause and damage are currently being clarified by the authorities.
