On November 7, under the direction of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee, the Department of Agriculture and Environment chaired the inspection in coordination with the Provincial Police and Bao Loc Ward 3 People's Committee to conduct an inspection at Bao Loc Waste Treatment Plant.
Accordingly, Lam Dong provincial authorities have inspected many contents related to Bao Loc Waste Treatment Plant that Lao Dong Newspaper has reported.

Specifically, inspect and evaluate the amount of waste remaining at the factory; assess the environmental impact caused by the amount of waste of more than 64,000 tons that can be caused; inspect and evaluate the impact of wastewater from the factory on the environment.

During the inspection, the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Lam Dong province took samples of wastewater from the waste treatment plant and water sources on Dai Lao stream (at the location directly adjacent to the waste treatment plant) for testing and assessing the level of pollution.
The authorities have questioned the representative of Friendly Green Environment Joint Stock Company (the plant's operator) about the capacity to handle waste. In which, it emphasized the capacity and time to handle the huge mountain of garbage that is still pending.

The authorities also requested that Friendly Green Environment Joint Stock Company pay attention to ensuring the legitimate rights and interests of employees working at the Factory. It is necessary to promptly resolve the wages owed to workers, so that they can return to work soon.

Speaking to Lao Dong Newspaper reporter, Mr. La Thien Luan - Head of the Environment Department (Lam Dong Department of Agriculture and Environment) said: "We have conducted a field survey at the Waste Treatment Plant under the direction of the provincial People's Committee. The inspection and survey are based on issues reported by the press. We will make a record of the actual situation to report to the Provincial People's Committee. When there are results, we will inform the press".
Previously, as reported by Lao Dong Newspaper, more than 64,000 tons of waste stagnant at Bao Loc Waste Treatment Plant pose a high risk of causing serious environmental pollution.

According to the People's Committee of Bao Loc Ward 3, this situation is prolonged due to many reasons. In particular, the main reason is that the machinery system is old, often damaged and the long-term unpaid wages of workers have not been resolved.
In particular, the Bao Loc Construction Investment Project Management Board and Friendly Green Environment Joint Stock Company - the factory operator - have not yet agreed on a unit price for waste treatment.
