On June 3, information from the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Nghe An province said that it had just announced the selection of a professional organization to auction mineral exploitation rights for 10 mines in the province.
The list includes many mines of soil, sand, gravel, construction stone and whitewater with great potential, distributed in localities such as Quynh Vinh (Hoang Mai), Thuong Tan Loc (Nam Dan), Dong Van and Ngoc Son (Thanh Chuong), Nghia Hoan (Tan Ky), Chau Loc, Chau Hong, Lien Hop (Quy Hop) ...
The total area of the 10 mineral mines expected to be auctioned is 122.13 hectares. Notable among them are the white-flower stone quarries in Thung Chuoi 2, Lien Hop 1 and Ban Ich - the quarries oriented to provide raw materials for stone powder and paving stone factories. Some large sand and gravel mines on the alluvial plains along the Lam River will also be auctioned to serve as common construction materials.
Organizing the auction of participating assets must ensure the criteria according to the provisions of the Law on Property Auction, Circular No. 19/2024/TT-BTP of the Ministry of Justice, along with detailed regulations of the Department of Agriculture and Environment in Decision No. 250/QD-SNNMT-KHTC dated May 19, 2025.
The location for receiving registration documents to participate in the auction is the Office of the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Nghe An province (No. 129 Le Hong Phong, Vinh City), the unit only receives documents directly, not by post.
This is an important first step in Nghe An's 2025 mineral exploitation plan, aiming to effectively use resources, make auction activities transparent, and create resources for local socio-economic development.
