On July 30, Bao Loc Ward 3 Police (Lam Dong province) said they had just received a pangolin individual voluntarily handed over by people to hand over to specialized rescue agencies.
Previously, while clearing the garden, Mr. Dinh Ngoc Huan (resident of residential group 14, ward 3, Bao Loc) discovered a pangolin individual and proactively brought it to the Ward Police to hand over.
Immediately after receiving it, Bao Loc Ward 3 Police coordinated with forest rangers and specialized agencies to make a record and check the health status of the pangolin individual.
Currently, Bao Loc Ward 3 Police have completed procedures to hand over the pangolin individual to a competent unit for care and rescue before releasing it back to its natural environment when conditions are met.
According to Bao Loc Ward 3 Police, people's voluntary handover of precious and rare wild animals contributes to protecting biodiversity, while spreading awareness of law compliance and joining hands to conserve wildlife species.
