There are beauties that are quietly spreading in life, which is that more and more people are not thinking about selling wild animals for money or bringing them to the drinking table, but thinking about how to bring them back to the forest.
The story of Ms. Y Pieng and Ms. Y Duong in Duc Nong commune, Quang Ngai province is such a beautiful example.
While weeding, the two people discovered a pangolin hiding in a bamboo bush. Instead of keeping it, they proactively reported to the authorities to hand it over to functional agencies and return it to its natural environment.
Not long before that, in Khanh Hoa, a resident also handed over a pangolin caught in a net in the field to the forest rangers.
In Dong Nai, people voluntarily handed over a Java pangolin and a birman kite for rescue.
Or many fishermen and coastal residents promptly rescued sea turtles caught in nets, exhausted, and then released them back into the ocean.
There was a time when pangolins were a dish sought after by many people.
People are spreading unfounded rumors about the uses of pangolin meat and scales, making this gentle animal a victim of illegal hunting and trading.
From the deep forest, they are brought to drinking tables, into restaurants, becoming symbols of ostentation rather than culinary value.
But today, more and more people choose other ways. They understand that each wild animal returning to nature is an additional opportunity to preserve biodiversity.
That is the result of many years of propaganda and dissemination of laws, of persistent conservation campaigns, of the involvement of forest rangers, local authorities and even the press in spreading beautiful stories.
The precious thing is that most of the people who surrendered wildlife were ordinary people. They did not do it to be rewarded, they simply thought that the animal belonged to the forest, not to themselves.
It is these simple thoughts that are contributing to creating a beautiful feature in dealing with nature.
And, every kind action like that of Ms. Y Pieng, Ms. Y Duong or many other people is adding a belief that love for nature is growing in the community.
It is these seeds that will make the forests greener, the nature more peaceful, and life more beautiful.
