On the afternoon of September 7, the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment organized a Conference to Announce the Prime Minister's decision to appoint Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Environment. The conference was attended by Minister of Agriculture and Environment Trinh Viet Hung and leaders of ministries.

Deputy Minister Le Trong Yen, 53 years old, from Hung Yen; PhD in Land Management, Master of Agriculture, Engineer of Land Management, Bachelor of Accounting, Bachelor of English Language.
Mr. Le Trong Yen has many years of experience working in the fields of agriculture, natural resources and environment. During his time working in Dak Nong (old), he held the positions of Vice Chairman of Cu Jut District People's Committee; Deputy Director of Department of Natural Resources and Environment; Director of Department of Agriculture and Rural Development; Director of Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Dak Nong province.
In November 2020, Mr. Le Trong Yen was appointed as Vice Chairman of Dak Nong Provincial People's Committee. After Lam Dong, Dak Nong and Binh Thuan were arranged and a new Lam Dong province was established in July 2025, Mr. Le Trong Yen held the position of Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee.
During his time working in Lam Dong, he was assigned to be in charge of a number of important fields, including fields related to expertise and long-term work such as agriculture, natural resources and environment.
Currently, the Minister of Agriculture and Environment is Mr. Trinh Viet Hung. The Ministry of Agriculture and Environment has 7 deputy ministers including: Mr. and Mrs. Nguyen Hoang Hiep, Nguyen Thi Phuong Hoa, Le Cong Thanh, Nguyen Quoc Tri, Vo Van Hung, Dang Ngoc Diep and Le Trong Yen.
