According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, the eastern sea area of the North East Sea has strong winds of level 6.
During the day and night of January 7, the eastern part of the North East Sea and the western part of the South East Sea (including the sea area west of Truong Sa archipelago) will have strong winds of level 6, gusting to level 7 - 8. Rough seas, waves 2 - 4m high.
The sea area between the East Sea and the sea area from Binh Dinh to Ba Ria - Vung Tau has strong winds of level 5, sometimes level 6, gusting to level 7 - 8. Rough sea, waves from 2 - 3.5m high.
During the day and night of January 8, the northern sea area of the North East Sea, the western sea area of the South East Sea (including the western sea area of Truong Sa archipelago) and the sea area from Khanh Hoa to Binh Thuan will have strong northeast winds of level 6, gusting to level 7-8, rough seas, and waves 2-4m high.
The meteorological agency warns that the risk level of natural disasters due to strong winds at sea is level 2. All ships operating in the above areas are at high risk of being affected by tornadoes, strong winds and large waves.
