The cloud area tends to continue to develop and expand to the east.
The meteorological agency warned that in the next 10 minutes to 3 hours, this cloud area will cause showers and possible thunderstorms in the above districts, then it is likely to spread to Bac Tu Liem, Nam Tu Liem, Ha Dong districts and other inner-city districts of Hanoi city. During thunderstorms, beware of tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.

In the mountainous areas of the North on the day and night of May 10, there is a forecast of moderate rain, some places with heavy rain and thunderstorms with common rainfall from 20 - 50mm, some places over 100mm.
The Northern Delta and midland areas from the afternoon and night of May 10 are forecast to have moderate rain, heavy rain, locally very heavy rain and thunderstorms with rainfall from 30 - 70mm, some places over 150mm.
The North Central region from the afternoon of May 10 to the morning of May 11 is forecast to have moderate rain, heavy rain, locally very heavy rain and thunderstorms with rainfall from 30 - 70mm, some places over 150mm.
