HCMC - The landslide on the Saigon River dike in Binh My commune (Cu Chi) forced 4 households to evacuate, temporarily isolated traffic, and the authorities urgently repaired it.

On the morning of June 14, a serious landslide occurred on the Saigon River dike, through Hamlet 3, Binh My commune (Cu Chi district, Ho Chi Minh City) affecting 4 households and temporarily isolating road traffic.

As soon as signs of landslides were detected, people promptly reported to the authorities. A representative of the Cu Chi District Military Command said that local forces were quickly present and deployed emergency response measures.

The Cu Chi District Military Command has mobilized militia and self-defense forces to support the evacuation of all 4 households and their assets from the danger zone.

At the same time, the embankment section that was eroded has also been temporarily reinforced. All evacuation work has been completed safely, with no casualties.

Currently, local authorities are coordinating with relevant units to continue to closely monitor the situation. Long-term solutions and to prevent landslides from spreading are also being urgently implemented.
