Son La province is preparing to auction 3 quarries as raw materials for sand production in Moc Chau town.

On April 3, the Office of the People's Committee of Son La province and the Provincial People's Committee issued a decision approving the auction plan for the right to exploit minerals for common construction materials in areas without mineral exploration for 3 stone quarries for sand production in Moc Chau town.

Details of the location and area of the quarries are as follows:

The quarry in Bo Bun residential group, Binh Minh ward (formerly Area 2, Bo Bun sub-area, Moc Chau Farm town) has an area of 1.63ha.

The quarry is also in Bo Bun residential group, Binh Minh ward (formerly Zone 3, Bo Bun sub-region) with an area of 2.12 hectares.

The quarry is located in Na Ang residential group, Dong Sang ward (formerly Ang village, Dong Sang commune) with the largest scale of 3.32 hectares.

The total auction estimate is more than 266 million VND. The auction will be held in the second quarter of 2025. If not successfully implemented in this quarter, the plan will be transferred to the following quarters of the year or the following years.

According to the plan, the Department of Agriculture and Environment is the agency in charge of implementation, responsible for the data and auction organization process.
