Hanoi area
From October 5 to October 10: No rain in Hanoi, sunny days, light fog in the early morning. Cold at night and morning, some mountainous areas are freezing.
October 11: Hanoi has rain in some places, forecast light sunshine in the afternoon.
Northern region and Thanh Hoa
From October 5 to October 10: The North and Thanh Hoa have no rain, sunny days, early mornings have scattered fog and light fog. Nights and mornings are cold, some mountainous areas are cold.
On October 11, the North and Thanh Hoa will have rain in some places, with light sunshine in the afternoon.
Water levels of the rivers in the North and Thanh Hoa change slowly.
Central Region
From October 5 to 6: The area from Nghe An to Thua Thien Hue will have sunny days and no rain at night; the area from Da Nang to Binh Thuan will have scattered showers and thunderstorms.
From the night of October 6 to 9: Nghe An area has rain in some places; the area from Ha Tinh to Quang Ngai has rain, moderate rain and thunderstorms, locally heavy rain; the area from Binh Dinh to Binh Thuan has scattered showers and thunderstorms.
From October 10 to 11: The Central region will have scattered rain and showers.
Thunderstorms may cause tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind.
Water levels of rivers from Nghe An to Binh Thuan fluctuate.
Central Highlands and Southern Region
From October 5 to 11: The Central Highlands and the South will have intermittent sunshine during the day, with scattered showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening, with localized moderate and heavy rain.
Thunderstorms may cause tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind.
Water levels of rivers in the Central Highlands region fluctuate.
The water level at the headwaters of the Mekong River rises in the first 1-2 days, then changes slowly.
Oceanographic situation assessment
From October 5 to 11, in the North East Sea, waves ranged from 1.5 to 3.5m, rough seas. In the sea area from Quang Tri to Binh Thuan, from October 5 to 6, waves ranged from 1.5 to 3m, rough seas. From October 7, wave heights gradually decreased, ranging from 1 to 2m. In other areas, waves were generally less than 2m.
