On November 25, Nha Trang Port Border Guard Station (Khanh Hoa Border Guard) said that the unit is implementing many activities to support people affected by the recent floods.
For many days, the Dong Ro hamlet area (Vinh Xuan village, Nam Nha Trang ward) has had a damaged domestic water supply system, causing more than 100 households to be in a state of serious lack of clean water.
Faced with this situation, the Nha Trang Port Border Guard Station mobilized means of transporting fresh water, providing free water to the people.
After receiving water in time, people took advantage of bringing plastic cans, bins and buckets to get water to cook and serve daily activities.
In parallel with water supply, the border guards also coordinated with localities to clean up mud, collect waste, and clear the sewers that were blocked after the flood.
Environmental sanitation work has been urgently deployed, and disinfectants have been sprayed throughout the area to ensure safety, limit the risk of disease, and help people stabilize their lives soon.
