On the morning of November 21, the Khanh Hoa Provincial Hydrometeorological Station said that the flood level on rivers in the province has peaked and is gradually decreasing below alert level 1-2, while the Dinh River (Ninh Hoa) is still above alert level 3.
In many areas, receding water leaves behind a huge amount of waste, putting great pressure on environmental sanitation after floods.

According to Lao Dong, since the morning of November 21, some areas in Tay Nha Trang ward have gradually receded.
Many households have begun to return to their homes after many days of evacuation to avoid flooding.
Hundreds of people rushed to clean up, carry belongings, and check property affected by the flood.

From around 10am the same day, the central area of Nha Trang will have rain again but the rainfall will be small, not affecting the movement and clearance of people.
As soon as the water receded, many central city streets exposed a thick layer of garbage, stretching hundreds of meters. Household waste, tree stumps, dry branches, mud... cover the road surface, creating a shabby scene and posing a potential risk of unsanitary conditions.

In addition to the street area, Nha Trang coast is also flooded.
The water from upstream flows into the sea, then is hit by waves against the sand, causing many sections of the coast to be covered with natural waste and household waste.

Urban environmental units are urgently mobilizing human resources and machinery to collect and treat the huge amount of garbage generated immediately after the flood, ensuring safety and hygiene and restoring the city's tourism landscape.
