On July 9, Major Dau Van Thanh, Deputy Head of Road Traffic Police Team No. 5 (Lam Dong Provincial Police Traffic Police Department) said that the unit had just returned a wallet and many important personal papers to a female student who dropped them while traveling in the area.
Previously, during patrols, inspections, and handling of traffic order and safety violations on Nguyen Du street (Kien Duc commune), the Task Force of Road Traffic Police Team No. 5 discovered a wallet lying on the roadside.
Through inspection, inside the wallet were nearly 1 million VND in cash and many important documents such as citizen identification card, A1 driver's license, vehicle registration certificate, student card and some other personal papers.
Immediately after that, the working group coordinated with Kien Duc Commune Police to verify information and quickly contacted the owner, Ms. P.T. H. H (born 2004), residing in Kien Duc commune, Lam Dong province.
After completing the verification procedures, the police force returned all assets and papers to the person who dropped them.
Receiving back the intact wallet, Ms. H said that she accidentally dropped it while moving and was very worried because there were many important papers inside.
When she was preparing to go to the police station to report, she suddenly received a phone call informing her that her property had been found.
Ms. H expressed her emotion and thanked the officers and soldiers of Road Traffic Police Team No. 5 of Lam Dong Police for their sense of responsibility and dedication to serving the people.
