On the morning of February 28, at the campus of Da Nang Library, the City Journalists Association in coordination with the Da Nang Tourism Association organized the restart of the Loving Coffee program in February 2026. This is a social charity activity initiated by the City Journalists Association in October 2018.
Speaking at the program, Mr. Doan Xuan Hieu - Director of Da Nang Newspaper and Radio, Television, Chairman of the City Journalists Association said that after a journey of more than 5 years since its beginning, the program has fostered and spread many human values. The restart aims to continue connecting journalists and philanthropists to share social responsibility, bringing joy to unfortunate circumstances.
As of February 28, the program has received a total amount of 1.9 billion VND. The Steering Committee has spent and provided support to 440 cases with an amount of 1.8 billion VND. Currently, the program's fund has remained 103 million VND. All contributed funds are managed and used for the right purposes by the City Journalists Association according to regulations.
At the ceremony, units and individuals directly presented symbolic boards in support of the fund. Specifically, the Da Nang Tourism Association, Mr. Doan Xuan Hieu and the Da Nang Tour Guides Association branch each donated 10 million VND.
Units including the Representative Office of Nhan Dan Newspaper in the Central - Central Highlands region, the Travel Association, the Hotel Association, Furama Resort Da Nang, the Da Nang Tourism Transport Association and Tien Sa Taxi each unit supported 5 million VND.
Mr. Nguyen Duc Quynh - Vice Chairman of Da Nang Tourism Association affirmed that the unit will continue to accompany the City Journalists Association to spread love and support vulnerable people in society.
