From January 24-28 (December 25-29), Phu Yen General Hospital organized the program "Love Bus - 0 VND" to bring patients in difficult circumstances home to celebrate spring and Tet.
Having just recovered after 20 days of treatment, Mr. Luu Van Loan (60 years old, residing in Cung Son town, Son Hoa district) felt warm when the hospital supported him and took him home to celebrate Tet.
"After many days of treatment, the doctor informed me that my health condition was stable so I could go home to celebrate Tet with my family. Moreover, the hospital also supported a "0 dong" bus to take my wife and I home, I was very happy. Because these days it is very difficult to find a bus, and travel expenses are also expensive," Mr. Loan shared.
According to Phu Yen General Hospital, there will be 3 "free" buses every day, departing at 9am to take patients from the hospital home for Tet.
"This is the second year the hospital has organized the "Love Bus" program to support patients who are eligible for discharge, but are in difficult circumstances, to return home to celebrate Tet with their families. In the coming years, we will continue to maintain this activity" - Mr. Tran Anh Dung, Director of Phu Yen Provincial General Hospital, said.
