Lam Dong - People who mistakenly transferred money have received more than 26 million VND back after reporting and being supported by the police.

On April 21, Tan Lap Commune Police (Lam Dong province) said they had supported a case of mistakenly transferring money to a bank account, helping people receive back the entire amount of money.

Previously, Ms. Pham Thi Xuan Mai (born 2003, residing in Tan Lap commune) in the process of transacting bank transfers mistakenly transferred more than 26 million VND to a stranger's account.

Immediately after discovering it, Ms. Mai went to Tan Lap Commune Police to report and request support for handling.

Upon receiving information, the commune police coordinated with the bank and related units to verify the account holder who received the money. Through verification, the money was transferred to an account holder residing in Truong Vinh ward, Nghe An province.

The police force proactively contacted and mobilized the account holder to receive the wrongly transferred money. After being explained, the store owner returned all the money to Ms. Mai.

Receiving the money back, Ms. Mai expressed her joy and thanked the officers and soldiers of Tan Lap Commune Police for promptly supporting and helping to resolve the case quickly.
