On March 18, Phong Hai Commune Police said that the unit had just received a thank-you letter from the family of L.B. N. (born 2012) and L.V. T. (born 2011), both residing in Nam Chu village, Phong Hai commune, expressing their respect for the spirit of responsibility and dedication of the Police force in the process of searching for the two children.
Previously, at about 5 pm on March 10, the Commune Police received a report from the family about two children voluntarily leaving the house, with unknown whereabouts.
According to initial information, at about 12:15 pm on the same day, both were discovered getting into a 5-seater car of the MG brand, license plate 21A-207. 15, traveling with a strange man.
Recognizing that the incident poses a potential risk to children's safety, Phong Hai Commune Police urgently deployed professional measures, organized a review and tracking of vehicles, and coordinated with functional units outside the area to verify information.
At about 7 am on March 11, the police force identified the residences and workplaces of the two children. Among them, L.B. N. worked at a vermicelli restaurant in Vo Cuong ward (Bac Ninh province), and L.V. T. worked at a rice shop in Dinh Cong ward (Hanoi City).
Immediately after that, the Commune Police informed the family, coordinated to organize the pick-up and bring the two children back to the locality safely. Through verification, the incident showed no signs of crime.
