According to Hung Yen Provincial Police, previously, on the morning of April 6, during a patrol, the Thuong Hong Ward Police force together with the Traffic Police Department, Hung Yen Provincial Police discovered a child standing alone on the side of National Highway 5A, Hai Phong - Hanoi direction, belonging to Sai Phi residential group, Thuong Hong ward, Hung Yen province, showing signs of fear and unable to find relatives.
Immediately, officers and soldiers approached, reassured the spirit and took the child to the Thuong Hong Ward Police headquarters for care. Here, the Ward Police officers inquired about the child's information. However, because the child could not speak the common language, verifying the child's information was difficult. After that, the Ward Police quickly deployed verification measures such as announcing on the loudspeaker system, contacting neighboring residential areas and taking photos, posting information to find relatives of the child on social networking sites.
At 9:30 am on the same day, Mr. Phang A Vang, born in 1990, permanent residence: Che Me village, Muong Bang commune, Son La province, came to the Ward Police headquarters to present that the child was Phang A.S, born in 2015, Mr. Vang's biological son. The child is currently living with Mr. Vang in Ngoc Lang residential group, Duong Hao ward, Hung Yen province.
Thuong Hong Ward Police have conducted verification with local authorities and the landlord where Mr. Vang lives, determining that Mr. Vang is the biological father of Phang A.S. Thuong Hong Ward Police have completed procedures to hand over the child to Mr. Vang's family. Representatives of the family sent deep thanks to the officers and soldiers for their sense of responsibility and dedicated help.
