Previously, Ms. Le Thi Loi had filed a report to Ha Giang 2 Ward Police about being scammed and appropriating property. While carrying out procedures to transfer money to buy a motorbike at the store, because she did not know how to transfer money on her phone, Ms. Loi asked 2 young men who were visiting a rented room near that area to transfer money for her.
Taking advantage of Ms. Loi's trust and carelessness, the young man did not enter the account number of the motorbike shop but quickly transferred the amount of 20,500,000 VND to his personal account and fled.
After receiving the report, Ha Giang 2 Ward Police quickly directed and assigned officers to directly receive the report and resolve the case.
Using professional measures, the Ward Police identified and tracked down the subject as Vuong Tuan Hung (born in 2003, residing in Lao Cai ward, Lao Cai province). After the struggle process, the subject admitted to the act of appropriating property and returned all the embezzled money to Ms. Loi.
After receiving the property back, Ms. Loi sent a thank-you letter expressing emotion and recognizing the dedication and responsibility of officers and soldiers of Ha Giang 2 Ward Police.
