On September 4, Chuong My Ward Police received 1 billion VND and many types of papers found by Mr. Bui Quoc Vuong (born in 1990, residing in Tram Long village, Ung Hoa commune, Hanoi city) at a coffee shop in the area.
With a spirit of honesty and responsibility, Mr. Vuong proactively handed over the property to the police agency for verification and to find the person who lost it.
Upon receiving the information, Chuong My Ward Police urgently reviewed and verified the related information, thereby determining that Ms. N.T. T. H was the person who lost property.
The ward police contacted and organized the full return of the money and papers to Ms. H.
Before the noble gesture of Mr. Bui Quoc Vuong and the sense of responsibility of officers and soldiers of Chuong My Ward Police, Ms. H. wrote a thank-you letter to Mr. Vuong and the Ward Police collective.
Mr. Bui Quoc Vuong's action of "finding lost items, returning them to the person who lost them" is a simple but meaningful act, showing honesty, responsibility and awareness for the community.
Implementing the plan to ensure security and order during the National Day holiday on September 2nd, Chuong My Ward Police proactively deployed police forces to strengthen patrols and controls on key routes and areas; promptly detect and handle arising incidents, contributing to maintaining security and order, ensuring a peaceful life for the people.
Previously, during the process of performing the task of ensuring security and order on the occasion of National Day September 2nd, the Traffic Police Task Force of Chuong My Ward Police led by Comrade Do Van Tan as Team Leader picked up a wallet dropped by a resident.
Inside were about 5 million VND in cash and many important documents such as citizen identification cards, driver's licenses and professional training certificates.
Immediately after discovering the property, the Task Force reported to the unit commander, urgently verified information, and contacted the owner to return it.
At about 9 am on September 2, Chuong My Ward Police identified the owner of the wallet as Mr. N.V.N, born in 2004, residing in Hoa Binh residential group, Yen Nghia ward, Hanoi city.
Mr. N. went to the headquarters of Chuong My Ward Police and received all his assets and papers back.
