To ensure supply and demand and stabilize gasoline and oil prices, freight rates for goods and passengers, the Ministry of Construction proposed that the Government continue to direct the implementation of "urgent solutions to respond to the ongoing conflict in the Middle East", focusing on solutions to diversify crude oil supply sources for oil refineries to maintain operations to ensure domestic gasoline and oil supply; Continue to establish a high-level working mechanism with countries in the region (such as Thailand, China) to create conditions for Vietnamese businesses to implement Jet A-1 fuel purchase contracts that have been signed as well as future purchases.
The Ministry of Construction also proposed that the Ministry of Industry and Trade continue to direct oil refineries and gas processing plants to have plans to expand input material sources to maintain operations and ensure domestic gasoline and oil supply; Direct gasoline and oil businesses to have plans to prioritize fuel supply to key transport and construction enterprises in case of fuel supply shortages that do not meet domestic demand.
