According to the e-Portal (TTDT) of the Ministry of Public Security, Avuong Commune Police (Da Nang City) has just received information about searching for people on Facebook posted by people and has quickly searched and handed over the lost man to his family.
Previously, on January 4, 2026, relatives of Mr. T.N.C (born in 1960) came to Thu Bon Commune Police (Da Nang City) to report that Mr. C had a mental illness, so he had left his house in Thu Bon Tay village - Thu Bon commune and did not know where he was, so they asked Thu Bon Commune Police for support and posted a notice to find people.
Receiving information on the Facebook account of Thu Bon Commune Police, Avuong Commune Police (Da Nang City) mobilized forces to coordinate with forces to participate in protecting security and order at the grassroots level to review the area and grasp information.
By the morning of January 8, the commune police had discovered Mr. C in a state of poor health, mentally unconscious in R'cung village (Avuong commune), about 120km from home.
The commune police quickly took Mr. C to the agency headquarters, visited, encouraged, provided food and drinks, and arranged resting places. After that, Avuong Commune Police contacted Thu Bon Commune Police to inform Mr. C's family to come and pick him up.
At Avuong Commune Police, Ms. Pham Thi Hanh (Mr. C's sister-in-law), representing the family, wrote a thank you letter and shared: "The road is too far and the hills are dangerous, the weather is freezing cold. Luckily, my brother was found by the police and taken care of thoughtfully.
The meaningful and humane actions of the Avuong Commune Police (Da Nang City) have shown a high sense of responsibility, wholeheartedly serving the people, concretizing the "Ba Nhat" emulation movement launched by the Ministry of Public Security: "Most disciplined - Most loyal - Closest to the people".
