On March 8, information from the Police of Than Linh commune (Nghe An province) said that they had just promptly supported two stray children to return safely to their families.
Previously, at about 6 pm on March 7, Than Linh Commune Police received a report from people about discovering two young children riding bicycles lost in Nghi Phuong 4 hamlet, Than Linh commune.
At the time of discovery, the 2 children said their names were Hoang Huu Khanh and Hoang Huu Quan, but did not remember the addresses, so people quickly reported to the local police force.
Immediately after receiving the information, Than Linh Commune Police took the 2 children to the headquarters to take care of them, encourage them, help them stabilize their spirits, and urgently verify their identities.
At about 7 pm on the same day, the police force identified the 2 children residing in Bac Son hamlet, Tan Chau commune, Nghe An province and quickly contacted the families to hand over the children safely.
Appreciating the sense of responsibility and timely actions of the Than Linh Commune Police force, the children's families and local people sent letters of thanks, expressing their respect for the beautiful gestures of the officers and soldiers.
