On March 8, Ho Chi Minh City Police are coordinating with relevant units to examine the scene and investigate a labor accident that killed one person and injured 3 others in Di An ward.
Initial information, at about 4:30 pm on March 7, employees were working at the warehouse on Street No. 8, Song Than Industrial Park when they heard a loud noise. When they ran to check, they discovered 4 men lying motionless on the warehouse floor.
Medical staff and ambulances quickly arrived to check, however, one victim died on the spot. The remaining victims were taken to the hospital for emergency treatment.
Through initial verification, the victims were hired to construct the air conditioning system at the warehouse. While standing working on the railing, the railing suddenly collapsed, causing all 4 people to fall to the ground from a height of about 10m.
The deceased victim was identified as N.T. Q. T (born in 1995, residing in Ho Chi Minh City).
Functional agencies are taking witness statements and extracting security camera footage to clarify the cause of the incident.
