On March 8, the Vietnamese Embassy in Israel sent a notice to the Vietnamese community about safety measures according to the guidance of the Israeli Internal Front Command. These regulations are applied from 8:00 PM on March 7 to 8:00 PM on March 9, local time throughout Israeli territory.
Accordingly, the Vietnamese representative agency requests citizens to pay attention to complying with the instructions of the local authorities to ensure safety during the time of emergency measures being implemented.
For gatherings and education activities, mass gatherings are only allowed to a maximum of 50 people provided that the location has access to standard shelters when warnings are issued. Beaches are temporarily closed to the public. All educational activities such as schools, kindergartens and other training programs are also temporarily suspended.
In the economic sector and workplace, agencies, businesses and workplaces are only allowed to operate when ensuring standard shelter space for use during warnings. Essential economic and service sectors continue to operate according to the regulations of Israeli authorities.
The Embassy recommends that people pay special attention when an emergency warning appears. When hearing the alarm or receiving information from functional agencies, people need to quickly move to the nearest shelter. Priority locations include safety rooms, shared shelters or public shelters, and need to stay in them until there is an official notice allowing them to leave.
In case of being outdoors or moving, people are advised to find the nearest shelter and follow the instructions of functional agencies.
The Vietnamese Embassy in Israel said that so far no casualties or property damage has been recorded for the Vietnamese community. People living in the host country have complied with the instructions of the local authorities.
The Vietnamese representative agency requested the community to continue to strictly comply with the new regulations, proactively implement measures to ensure safety for themselves and their families, and regularly monitor official announcements from the Israeli Internal Front Command and functional agencies.
The Embassy said that it will continue to closely monitor the developments of the situation and promptly update information to the Vietnamese community in Israel.
