On July 15, Ms. Pham Thi Han (87 years old, residing in Tien Phu Tay village, Tien Phuoc commune, Da Nang city) was still moved when receiving more than 12 million VND - the amount of money saved for old age - picked up by a student and brought to the commune police to find someone to return it.
Mr. Han said that a few days before, she went to the market and when she returned, she unfortunately dropped her bag of money and it was uncomfortable.
"I saved that amount of money from my children's gifts to spend on medicine and nursing care. When I got home and discovered it, I was worried, sad, and unable to sleep" - Mr. Han choked up.

Fortunately, Nguyen Ngoc Thanh - a union member and student living in the locality - discovered a bag of money dropped on the roadside while exercising in the morning. Immediately, he brought the entire amount to the Tien Phuoc Commune Police, asking for help in verifying and finding the person who dropped it.
The commune police quickly verified and identified Ms. Pham Thi Han as the owner. During the property return ceremony, Mr. Han was moved to hold Thanh's hand tightly, thanking him non-stop: "I thought that money was gone, who would have thought there would be someone as good as him".
Representatives of Tien Phuoc Commune Police and the Commune Youth Union praised the beautiful action and promptly organized the return of the property to Mr. Han. The local Youth Union also said that it will honor Thanh in the upcoming Youth Union activities to spread the spirit of honest and humane living.
Sharing about his actions, Nguyen Ngoc Thanh just laughed gently: "I think the person who dropped it must be very worried, so I just hope they can get it back as soon as possible."
