Minister of Public Security Luong Tam Quang has signed and issued Decision No. 5709/QD-BCA-C06 on announcing newly issued, amended, supplemented and abolished administrative procedures in the field of electronic identification and authentication under the authority of the Ministry of Public Security. This Decision takes effect from July 1, 2025.
Announced with this Decision is 1 newly issued administrative procedure, 10 administrative procedures have been amended, supplemented and 6 administrative procedures in the field of electronic identification and authentication under the authority of the Ministry of Public Security (with specific list and content attached).
Accordingly, the new administrative procedures issued at the Commune, Ward, and Special Zone Police (abbreviated as the Commune-level Police) are: Providing electronic identification accounts to agencies and organizations.
Of the 10 amended and supplemented administrative procedures, there are 5 procedures carried out at the Department of Administrative Management of Social Order Police, corresponding to 5 procedures carried out at the Commune-level Police, including: Providing level 2 electronic identification accounts, electronic identification cards for Vietnamese citizens; lock and unlock electronic identification accounts; lock and unlock electronic identification cards.
At the same time, 6 administrative procedures carried out by the district-level police were abolished, including: Providing level 2 electronic identification accounts, electronic identification cards for Vietnamese citizens; Providing electronic identification accounts to agencies and organizations; lock and unlock electronic identification accounts; lock and unlock electronic identification cards.
