Hue City Police Captain donates blood more than 100 times

    HUE - At the age of 34, Captain Hoang Ngoc Minh has donated blood and platelets 102 times and mobilized hundreds of people to participate.

    At the age of 34, Captain Hoang Ngoc Minh - an officer of My Thuong Ward Police (Hue City) has donated blood and platelets twice, becoming one of the outstanding faces nationwide in the voluntary blood donation movement.

    Starting to participate since 2011, in the period of 2011 - 2025 alone, Mr. Minh has donated 20 total blood donations and 82 platelets, many times overcoming difficulties during the COVID-19 epidemic to promptly save patients in need of blood transfusion.

    Not only actively participating, he also mobilized more than 300 local people to donate blood voluntarily.

    With the spirit of "iving each drop of blood, a life left behind", in 2023, he was honored as one of 100 outstanding blood donors nationwide. In 2024, he continued to be awarded the "For Humanitarian Career" Medal.
